King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), represented by the KAUST Academy, with its scientific and organizational weight, offers this program that directly focuses on preparing Saudi high school students for admission to the world’s most prestigious universities.

In this program, we will work to ensure that students receive quality training in various fields that guarantee the achievement of goals.

This will be through training that includes the essential experiences and strategies necessary to develop a comprehensive understanding of subjects, which not only ensures their acceptance into these universities but also guarantees their continued study with the required efficiency.

What is (STEPs)?

STEPs is a program designed to prepare high school students for academic success and readiness to join 30 top global universities recognized under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program (ِArruaad pathway). The program emphasizes STEM subjects, preparation for Standardized exams, personal and soft skills, and more.

Saudi students in the 10th grade can apply to the program.

There is no specific GPA requirement for admissions; however, you will be asked to provide your GPA in the registration form and upload a copy of your transcript.

Yes, all applicants will undergo an admissions test followed by a personal interview.

The admission test consists of two parts:

one focused on math and science subjects, which is two hours.

And the other part is on English language skills which last for one hour.

No, but there will be an English language test as part of the admission tests to assess the student’s level.

The STEPs program runs for fifteen months, in alignment with the academic calendar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The program is delivered in a hybrid format, combining in-person sessions at KAUST and online learning through platforms, in alignment with the academic calendar in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Absolutely. Academic mentorship, including guidance on university majors and future career paths, is a core part of the program.

The program is fully funded and completely free of charge, including accommodation and meals during the in-person periods of the program.

Yes, applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 200 SAR.
